The front pleats of a hakama are typically five, symbolizing the "Five Relationships and Five Virtues." However, a Kyoto hakama tailor taught us that "there is actually a hidden sixth pleat, and six is the original form."

Therefore, the HAKAMA-Pants (Linen) have six pleats. We've overlaid the symbol of tradition onto a modern design, imbuing it with richer meaning.
