Kosode-T-shirt [70% Washi Paper]

A new Japanese T-shirt inspired by the kosode, the prototype of the kimono.
The Kosode T-shirt draws inspiration from the kosode of the Momoyama period, which offered greater freedom than those of the Edo period.

Made with 70% washi paper yarn, it offers excellent absorbency, quick-drying properties, deodorizing effects, and antibacterial benefits.

Despite its thick texture, the lightness of washi paper provides a luxurious feel.

Another attractive feature is that its silhouette remains intact even after repeated washes.

Washing may cause minor wrinkling, which is a natural characteristic and charm of organic materials. Since Washi is a firm fiber, scratching the fabric may leave faint white lines (chalk marks). However, these will disappear after washing. We hope you enjoy the unique process of breaking in and aging this fabric over time.


Care Instructions

・Hand wash, or turn inside out and use a laundry mesh bag.

・Use a neutral (mild) detergent. Do not use bleach.

・Line dry in the shade.

・Iron on medium heat using a pressing cloth.

・Do not tumble dry.
